Event Alliez is a full service production partner that works with industry leaders to bring your event dreams to reality. Our team specializes in both virtual and in-person events with a client driven collaborative focus. This includes everything from venue and vendor selection, logistics planning, budget creation and management, registration, and guest experiences, on-site management, technical expertise, and direction, post-program debriefs and reconciliation… and much more. Our team prides itself in creating an event that is memorable both for the client and guest attendees. Our attention to detail ensures that our clients consistently receive the best customer service in the industry, and the industry knowledge that the Event Alliez team brings gives our clients a white-glove experience. We don’t put on our events, we are partners in creating YOUR events.
Mike Matthews
After nearly 20 years in the meeting and events industry, Mike started Event Alliez in 2016 to broaden his experience and share his skills with a broader market. For the last eight years, Mike has grown the company to include dozens of clients, with a list that continues to grow annually. Mike serves as the executive producer for large events, and his true passion is making clients happy with innovation and problem-solving. Clients come back year after year because of the professionalism and leadership Mike brings to each event. In his spare time, Mike enjoys carpentry and boating. He resides in Washington, DC with his wife Claire.
Katie Gordon
Since the beginning, Katie has been a part of the Event Alliez team, however, in 2022, she joined full time after leaving her job as a teacher. Katie is an associate producer and continues to be an integral part of the team. From stage management to hotel contracting and site operations, Katie is an asset to any event, providing our clients with the best customer service imaginable. Her unparalleled commitment to providing clients with the event of their dreams keeps clients asking for more. Katie resides in Maryland with her husband and two kids, and can be seen on plane rides catching up on needlepoint projects
James “Cricket” Labarre
James joins Event Alliez after being independent for many years. Since 2003, James has served as a Senior Project Manager, helping to produce nationally and internationally recognized events James joins the team as Vice President, Technical Production and will be an integral part of the team for technical direction, project management, and more. We believe the additional of James to the Event Alliez team will further strengthen its leadership and enhance our production goals. In his spare time, James enjoys watching Baltimore sporting events and traveling with his partner.
In addition to the full time team members, Event Alliez has a number of contract employees. With their additions, we are able to handle some of the largest events in the world with grace and ease. Our team comes with years of experience not only in event production and management but also in international relations, political events, security needs, certified meeting planners, and more. In total, we have over 75 combined years of experience, with that number growing every day as we continue to add to our team. These partners are well vetted by the Event Alliez team and integrate their skills to ensure that our clients receive the support and level of expertise that they have come to expect from Event Alliez. Our partners work in a number of roles, including showcalling, site management, stage management, hotel block management, and much more.
